Thank you.
Are there any statistics for the % of mandatory reconsiderations that either lower or stop the award after already giving an award?

Hi Sophie1985
I am not aware of any stats to what you are looking for, there are stats informing the number of MR that are successful which I believe is around 10%.

Sophie
We used to see this reported in the forum about once every six weeks but I can't remember the last time that we saw this happen, maybe two years now.

Finally got my decision letter, i scored 10 points for both mobility and daily living, awarded standard rate for both. until march 2023. The decision is pretty much inline with what the assessment report stated.
I am grateful to get anything and would also like to say a huge thanks to all you guy's that run this site and provide all of the amazing guides which i would have stood zero chance without!.
Will have to have a a think about appealing, I think the standard rate care is fair but i believe i should have got the enhanced rate mobility, just not sure its worth the risk and stress, ill give it a week or so before making any decisions
Thanks again!

Hi Sophie 1985
Congratulations on your award. I'm sorry that it's not quite what you hoped for mobility. If you want to put in for the mandatory reconsideration you have one month from the date on the decision letter.
