Replied by wing on topic Time between MR and Tribunal
Just wanted to add that it was 4 months from when I submitted my appeal in July.
I think they must be getting through them quicker now it’s by telephone.

Hi wing
That must be so annoying, let us know how you get on when you eventually get your new appeal date.

Hi Gary
Will let you all know when I get another date. I presume it will be the same panel.

Just to add, I’m not sure who is to blame for not including the medical notes - the HP or the DWP but either way, the Tribunal was not impressed and the Judge is going to let the DWP know that.

Hi wing
Unfortunately it does happen, I was at a tribunal a while ago, the actual claimant had died but luckily I was given medical evidence when I saw the claimant before he died. The Tribunal had no medical evidence but I was able to supply the medical evidence on the day and we won the appeal.
One of the issues was that no one would believe him when he said he was not well, he died in hospital.

Hi Gary & Margo
That’s absolutely terrible. Thank goodness you had the evidence and they accepted it on the day albeit too late for him.
The Tribunal now want all the evidence of my DLA award (High rate Care and Mobility) which I won over 20 years ago at a Tribunal. The judge is writing to the DWP for it.
I wonder if they have it still? Maybe the tribunals keep records that long.
Make sure Margo, when you get your ‘bundle’ from the dwp, that everything is there I.e. medical evidence etc.
