my partner surrendered his driving licence before claiming his pip because as hes on medication has pains spasms caused by ms etc he didnt want to be a possible danger on the roads to anyone we both wouldnt be able to live with ourselves if we caused harm to anyone

Hi Sarah-Lee

We would never advise you to lie - indeed some people have been caught doing so.

If you're not asked you are not obliged to mention it, but it would be unusual if they didn't. Just be very clear about your usage of a car and the limitations you have. Think through an answer now. If you rarely use it or someone else drives you the majority of the time - say so.

I agree guys, if you are on medsthat affect driving or think they could affect you, then definitely do not drive. I think it's reasonable to expect to be asked about driving as this would state a lot about you and capability.
Be honest and just say you drive but....
A lot of people lost motobility cars moving from DLA to PIP.
