I have contacted DWP about delays to both ESA and UC Work Capability Assessments for clients during lockdown and when contact DWP to be told that I need to speak to the external assessor as it is now their responsibility which is not the case - I would argue that the DWP have ultimate responsibility and have raised this issue with local MP's - this is very confusing especially for vulnerable clients
In this particular case it may be worthwhile trying to contact your local JC and ask them to investigate why it is taking so long
