Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi gbu82
Thank you for the heads up, it does help forum members with first hand information.
I spoke to DWP on Friday to find out about a WCA and was informed there are severe delays in issuing UC50 forms.

Hi Hera123
From your post, have you had an assessment? If you have, have you asked DWP for a copy of the assessors report?

Hi all,
This recurring thing about waiting times fof assessment results. If my review takes as long as some of the reported ones, I will have reached state pension age by the time I get a result.
Well, bit of a long shot but ......ongoing and light touch?
Now I wish I could believe that.
Phra k.

Just an update in case of use to members or mods, received appointment for a telephone assessment today.
In short, exactly 7 months from returning PIP review forms to having an assessment appointment. Hope this helps anyone wondering or worried by delays.
Mid Nov 2020 - PIP Review forms received in post.
Mid Jan 2021 - Forms returned by deadline (extended due to illness and Christmas).
Mid July 2021 - Telephone Assessment Appointment booked (given just under 2 weeks notice, by text).

Got my PIP award renewed, same levels and for a year longer than before! Many thanks to this site for producing such excellent guides and support here - both really helpful for dealing with a stressful, prolonged review period, of a complex benefit.
Just a final update on the timings in case of use for others/mods:
In short, the whole review process, from receiving forms to then getting a decision took nearly 9 months.

Was told the DWP would take 8 weeks to process the assessment report and make decision - but it took just over 3 weeks.
Start August 2021 - Decision issued.
Note: my assessor also told me that they have been told that telephone assessments for most people are here to stay, not temporary
