Just an update, had my telephone assessment yesterday at 9am, they called on time, was a female nurse, went through my form question by question, she was kind and polite and was patient and nice when I got tearful. I don’t know how long I will need to wait, but shall phone on Monday for a copy of the assessment report. Ccc, sorry I didn’t record it, didn’t have the means too, have a pretty good memory so made a lot of notes the minute the call ended. She read a lot of statements back to me once she had completed going over each question and asked if I had agreed with what she had written in her notes, I thought that was a positive thing. Overall, it wasn’t the hellish experience I had imagined and worried endlessly about. Only the decision will tell if she was genuine. I hope this helps anyone else about to go through the same.
Kind regards everyone.

Hi Loubylou
Thank you for your post, fingers crossed you will get the results you hopeful.
You can ask for a copy of the assessors report after 48 hrs, if you had the assessment on Thursday I would contact DWP on Tuesday.

They sent me decision letter on 4th working day after assessment, but in my opinion thats because i had sent in more info which they decided to ignore, which was in there system on that same day, marked for the DM, thats why they sent so quick.

Hi everyone,
I had requested a copy of my assessors report on Tuesday morning and have received it today.
By the descriptors chosen I have been awarded 13 points for daily living and 10 points for mobility.
If the DM doesn’t change anything, it seems my previous award (which I had to take to tribunal to get) has been what the assessor agrees with, which i’m so relieved about.
The assessors notes were accurate and true to what was said during the telephone assessment.
She has made a recommendation of 2 years.
Has anyone any idea how long it will take for a decision award to come through? I have been crippled financially since my payments were stopped on the 28th of April, also my SDP was stopped on this date too.
Kindest regards
Loubylou

Hi LoubyLou
I'm so glad that you have a report that is accurate. Hopefully, you will have the decision letter within eight weeks, but that is only an estimate.
