Thank you for this information, no , didn’t qualify for any level of mobility award in 2019 , and now know I should of appealed then , having to lie on the couch for the duration of the assessment ( the physiotherapist failed to write this in her medical assessment + I had to sit down on the floor at the main desk ( no chairs nearby ) on registering my arrival. According to the Citizens Advice website , say one can appeal ( though on the actual application form , there is little writing room to expand on the symptoms of arthritis ) for a Disability Bus Pass According to the Gov.U.K. it stipulates * if they can only walk up to 27 metres without severe discomfort , then they will qualify for a statutory concession. * if they can walk 27-64 metres without severe discomfort then it is likely to qualify However , the Bus Team are going to ring me on my current status What do you think ? With Many Thanks , Josie
You need to explain to the Bus Team what you have stated on the forum, how your condition affects you, only you know how your condition affects you, how far can you walk without being in severe discomfort, how long do you have to rest before you can move off again.
If you are constantly in severe pain what medication do you take to help you control the pain.
