Woohoo Phrank, so far so good. Next is a regular call -need not be by you, person can simply say they are your representative and quote your NI No, and that they are calling because you find the phone difficult which is why you have had paper based -- to ask when the report is done, and if it is to please post you out a copy ASAP. This way you may get it in time to write to contest any stupidness before the decision-maker decision-makes.
Well done and I hope it is some weight if not all off your mind,
Denby

Hi Denby,
Thanks so much for that information, I genuinely thought you couldn't request an assessor's paper-based report.
Thanks Gary,
......for the name of the assessor's report.
I COULD do it. The last time I phoned the AP the lady I spoke to could tell I was really struggling - but it took me ages to calm down afterwards. So perhaps I could get someone else to call.
One thing in my favour is the fact that my MP has already written to the DWP (I got email confirmation this afternoon) asking for a paper-based review as requested by my GP with the GP surgery letter
This surely would deter any misreporting I would have thought ie 'judging by his handwriting, I would say that he could easily run a mile in four minutes with a short break en route'!
Joking aside, yes it's been a long time since I let myself loose, I am feeling much more positive and will get that report ASAP.
Once again thanks for your support and help.
Really appreciated.
Regards,
Phrank.

Hi phrank,
Having followed your story for a while I am also pleased that you have secured a paper based assessment. Good luck with the rest of your PIP!
