Hi traceytracey,

Thank you so much for posting.

It makes me feel as though things are worth fighting for when I read positive comments such as yours. Thank you.

Without the support and encouragement I've had throughout this dark journey at times, I would have more than likely have given up.

The positivity this site gives you is unbelievable and, although I adhere to the guides thoroughly when I am renewing a claim, it is the resilience and sheer willpower of the members who post on this forum that give me the the inspiration to go on.

Kinf regards,

Phrank.

Hi all,

I guess this question follows on from where I am now.

Is there a chance that my award could be taken away at my paper based review and how likely is it that my award will stay the same?

Thanks in advance,

Kind regards,

Phrank.

Hi Phrank

Thank you for your kind words for the forum and its members.

One of the things I like about this forum is the encouragement members give fellow members who at times struggle to cope with the complexity of completing forms or being turned down after an assessment.

Hi Phrank

There is always a chance that your award can be taken away at your paperbased review, as to whether

All I can say is we all wish you good luck and for you to let us know how you get on.

Hi, Gary,

Thanks for your reply and of course I will keep you all posted pon how I get on.

I would have thought with an MP's involvement it unlikely to take away my award completely. Surely they would want to avoid bad publicity?

Regards,

Phrank.

Hi Phrank, the reality is that awards can be taken away at face to face or phone assessments too. Remember though that they would need to show an improvement in your condition to do this and you have support from your doctor to show that your condition has not improved. If it helps at all I had a paper based review a few weeks ago and my award remained the same and was given for a longer time.

I am pleased for you that you won't at least have to face the stress of a face to face or phone assessment. I understand fully the stress of waiting for an answer but you fought hard for the paper based review when you felt like giving in and I hope you can feel proud of yourself for that.

I hope you will have chance to breathe over the weekend and that the result will be what you hope for, you have certainly done all you can for now.
best wishes
