Thank you for listening to me. My partner has no disability, she is the carer for my disabled daughter. Unfortunately, I have been forced to claim PIP as I share the same inherited disease as my daughter. So, SDP looks like a no go but how about adding disability premium to our income support?

Extract taken from Gov.uk
Disability premium payments can be added to your:

Income Support
income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
housing benefit
You usually need to be eligible for the disability premium to qualify for the severe or enhanced premiums.

Hi Paul

You will not get SDP as per my previous post, you may be entitled to EDP if you receive the enhanced Daily living component of PIP.
