Hi Gary
Thank you, it will take me a while to read what you wrote. I have to read things in small chunks, else I wont retain it.
I forgot to mention yesterday when I posted.
I had just came back from seeing my neurologist.
Who did several more tests and said that I am suffering along side brain injury problems.
Functional Neurological Disorder.
He will be writing to my GP and me with, I hope helpful information about this.
I find it so difficult reading through this PA4.
It appears that because I can call a taxi to take me to hospitals is considered good verbal communication. Geez, how on earth am I to get to a hospital if I don't call a taxi.
I am trying to understand what FND is and if PIP will reject this diagnoses too.
Is there anyone here who has FND and had PIP issues with that?
Thanks again Gary

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Pauline
I don't know whether you are aware of this website fndhope.org/ which is a charity for Functional Neurological Disorder and it clearly explains not only what it is, but how even medical professionals make wrong assumptions about the symptoms. I think you may find it useful when describing it on your PIP form.

Hi Pauline
(After all the questions, at the end of the call she asked me. Can you put your foot on the bed to put on your socks. )
How did you rely to the question ?
regards.

Hi BIS
Yes the neurologist gave me some links to look at, and the one you mention was one of them. My brain feels fried at the moment, I have so much to take in. I keep forgetting other things that I mean to post.
Thank you for your reply

Hi Denby
Once again thank you.
I appreciate your help. The neurologist said that he will write his report for the GP and copy to me.
But I will take your advice and call tomorrow.
I have had the most confusing days where I cant think, spell or read properly.
Good job spell check corrects me.
I will come back when I get more info
Thanks again

Hi Pauline
Welcome to my world, I see my neurologist tomorrow, I thought BIS 's link was interesting.
I use plenty of post it notes to remind myself to do things then put a tick against the note when I have carried out the task. Long term memory very good, short term memory non existent
