Actually BIS (or anyone else!) I'm just looking through my old paperwork and wondering if I have been sent the 1043 too early ....
My last claim was originally to 15/11/2021 but due to the pandemic they extended it to 14/08/2022 - the timing of this form seems like they are doing the review in November after all.
Does anyone know if this is something they are doing? It's really upsetting me as I get so anxious about the whole process - each time I've applied (since 2010) I've had to go to appeal and each time my mental health gets worse as I feel worthless and disbelieved.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi An ex nurse
You are correct, 3 month qualifying condition, and satisfy the relevant part of the PIP assessment for the next nine months.
If you are terminally ill and have claimed PIP on this basis, you do not have to meet the required period condition. You automatically get the enhanced rate of the daily living component.

Hi Anexnurse (so am I!) and Gary
It is actually a change/worsening of one of my existing conditions - I have been claiming since 2010 with fibromyalgia/ibs/menstrual issues/anxiety/depression - I probably didn't word my original post very well as am already getting stressed :/
Thanks for your replies :o)

Hi stefaniel2001
We have heard from a number of members who have been given an extension only to be issued with a review form a few weeks later.
If you are not sure what to do contact DWP explain what has happen and ask when you are required to return the form, if necessary ask for an extension.

Thanks Gary
I think I shall try and psych myself up to ring them tomorrow. It just seems so ridiculous doesn't it? They give us the feeling of a breathing space only to chuck it back in our faces :/
Hey-ho
I'll feed back after I've spoken to them.
Thanks again
