congratulations on your "win" against the DWP, however it should not have gone that far.
I also have fibro and it is such a frustrating illness and i am still trying to deal with it - think mine triggered in feb 07 after c section of twins....symptms started 2 weeks later and 18 monthslater finally got diagnosed.
I get HRM and LRC, but last year got high rate on both - keep thinking about appealing but knowing my luck they would take all away...my partner gave up work to look after me and he now cannot claim anything at all !!!....maybe sell the house and buy big cardboard box to live in....
have a nice long rest and feel un rested when you get up again !!!! thanks fibro !!

Hi again.Well I have got my back money, HURRAH, and it feels very strange not having to think about every penny I spend. Strange but very nice.

My question today is should the DWP send me a letter confirming the Tribunal decision?.I want to reapply for my blue badge, which I lost when the DWP did not renew my DLA last year, and the form from my local council ask for proof that I receive HRM.

Many thanks,
Melady.

You should receive the standard "About your DLA" letter which will list your entitlements and the relevent rates, however, if my own experience can be used, this can take an extended period of time.

You would be best advised to contact the DLA office in Blackpool to see whether the can expedite this letter or provide you with an interim one. confirming you DLA.
