Bizzarre call from DWP

Can't say that I've had that type of call myself, but I've just run the number you gave past a call tracing web site

And it isn't logged as any number they've heard about yet.

Am I the only one who's finding all this extremely creepy?

I mean It's eitehr the DWP upping their powers of intimidation or a fraudster trying it on. Both answers worry me somewhat.

I do know they can get copies of your Bank Statements without your authorisation because they done this with previously when I moved home. I know this because they interviewed me about it.
