I have a good support network and I still feel like I'm fighting a battle - and all this after surviving a life threatening accident and its consequences.

I'm lucky - I will recover and return to work one day - but my heart goes out to all those here with degenerative problems.

I'm totally shocked at how the current system treats people who have had the misfortune to suffer illness or injury.
Sadly the DWP are reminding me of Col. Gadaafi and his twisted view of reality.
It's shameful.

I will never forget my experience and I aim to become invovled in helping with Disability rights in some way,when I'm back in action.
Even if it's just a sponsored ride to donate funds to your site.
