Both Crazy Diamond and Derek have replied to me and one other person suggesting that the "to" date is meaningless and merely computer-generated. IS THIS TRUE?

Yes, it is!

The letter refers to the amount of ESA, not entitlement to ESA.

Like Fedup, I passed my 'to' date last year and my payments continued as normal.

Thank you, everybody, for answering my question. It seems that the answer is that the "to" date is not synonymous with a reassessment date. Which begs the question as to why the DWP has omitted to indicate to ESA recipients in these letters exactly when they can anticipate having to be reassed, well, that is to say, those who do not have to undergo face to face scrutiny.

I thought that meant I would be reassessed again in November, but having asked about it in the forum, I dont think it means that at all.

I'm just praying I dont have to go through this awful process again soon.

Were you put in the Wrag group? Have you been called to attend a work focused interview? I'm dreading that too!

Hello Nada, I hope that you don't have to go through this again soon either. I was put into the support group, but I would have had a cast-iron case if I hadn't been. What concerns me is that I have a rare and incurable illness which will almost certainly just get gradually worse, so it bothers me a lot the absurdity of the badgering people with progressive and incurable prognoses.

It really makes no sense at all the airy-fairy notion that ESA is designed to keep re-testing the entire cohort of people who battle-on for years with problems that are never going to go away.
