Hi Linda
I sympathise wholeheartedly with your position. I have written a lengthy response to you which is waiting to be posted after being checked out but apart from the medical conditions I share most of your problems. Dont give up ! fight as best you can for your rights luv however difficult and time consuming, distressing and humiliating, you know how you feel and how you are affected, they don't experience it so how can they tell you what you are c apable of ?

thank you annie :) I've had my life destroyed by this stupid illness for over 16 years... for the first 5 I managed to still work full time and raise 2 boys... ironically as they fled the nest FMS kicked in big time  I have been on IB since and DLA full mobility low care since 2001. I had to appeal that in 2007 as the so called expert decided to ignore all truth and say I had been completely cured of this uncurable chronic illness! I won pretty swiftly and the remarks made about the Doctor and DWP where not complimentary. They but me back on full mobility low care indefinately... so I 'wouldn't have to go through all this again' 'sigh' I have gotten worse and my husband has to do so much more for me :( but am scared to apply again to try to get middle rate care.
Now this so off I go again, cured of the uncurable... ohhhh I wish... what i would give to be 'me' again. Did they look at my esa50 and decide I would be incapable of appealing? Its going to kill me and move my 'normal' pain levels up yet again but I have no choice. Brain broke, cannot remember what I was going to say... em... if it comes back so will I.

Hi Linda

Sorry about your plight. I too was put in the Wrag group without a medical (transferred from incapacity benefit)

I feel I should be in the support group
because I told them I rarely go out or socialise, due to depression/anxiety.
However, in a way I am just grateful I didn't have to go to a medical, as that is what I was really dreading.

I can't face the stress of appealing, so I've decided, when I get called for a work-focused interview, to make my feelings clear, and to be as unreliable and as distressed as I normally am when faced with the stress of change and work. Then maybe the advisor will pass this on to the DWP, so that next time I am assessed I will get put into the support group.

I will have to be focused and determined so that I am not pushed around!

Good Luck if you decide to appeal.

It might not be curable, which of course will be very hard as to cure it they would all (Drs) have to agree a cause of the problem. But what I think they will start saying with yours and other problems without a cure is something like
"managed and controlled" :) so able to work
Have a look at DLA a to z of conditions under Progression and recovery of conditions

My husband has just received a phonecall saying I have just been put in the work group as well without a medical.

Even though I feel I definately fit at least one of the criteria for the support group.
