On the assumption that you are receiving Income Related ESA.My husband as just been placed into WRAG esa. On his letter of the breakdown of his IR (esa) it states we have EXTRA MONEY BECAUSE YOUR PARTNER IS A CARER (carers premium) does that mean my husband is in receipt of that money or me? I receive carers allowance because he is in receipt of middle rate care (DLA).

I would expect your husband to be receiving the Carers Premium as an addition to his ESA(IR) and for you to be paid the Cares Allowance, with an equivalent deduction from his ESA(IR).
If your friend is receiving IS due to incapacity then they will be transferred to ESA(IR).

Yes, he should be excusedMy husband is in receipt of IR (ESA). So if he does receive the carers premium does that mean he does not have to attend the WFI's. I have read it on here B & W, just would like to have it confimed.
