A response to a Freedom of Information request published this month on the They Work For You website has collected together and published a range of DWP guidance document relating to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

This includes:

the evidence based protocol on chronic fatigue syndrome, last updated in January 2010, that all health care professionals working for Atos Healthcare are required to read an as part of their induction training.

all the information on chronic fatigue syndrome that health care professionals are required to engage in their programme of continuing medical education, including the two modules on chronic fatigue syndrome. These were last updated in April 2009 and March 2010 respectively.

the specific Work Capability Assessment guidance that has been issued for the assessment of persons presenting with a diagnosis of myalgic encephalomyelitis or chronic fatigue syndrome.
