The DWP is hosting 5 events around the country in March and April to provide information about the ‘welfare reform’ programme.

The DWP say that ‘The events are aimed at frontline workers in organisations that work with and advise our customers.’ 

It is unlikely that claimants will be welcome, but if you wish to enquire - or you are a frontline worker who has not yet been made redundant - the email address for enquiries and bookings is:

The events run from 10.00am to 3.45pm at the following venues:

Wednesday 9 March    Somerset House, London
Thursday 17 March     Mercure Hotel, Cardiff (the DWP Welsh Annual Forum)
Friday 1 April             The Council House, Bristol
Thursday 14 April       Civil Justice Centre, Manchester
Thursday 21 April       Victoria Quay, Edinburgh
