The DWP have been misinforming claimants about how to complain about their personal independence payment medical, according to a memo sent out to staff late last year.

The memo explained that:{jcomments on}

“Customers are being given the incorrect contact details for their Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Assessment Provider (AP) by DWP staff when they want to make a complaint about the service they received from the AP.

“If a customer contacts you and states they wish to complain solely about the service provided by their PIP AP then please give them the following contact details:”
