I am wondering whether I should do the PIP claim and then later so the ESA claim where I am prob only entitled to national insurance credits. I assume then the DWP may use the results of my PIP if I am lucky for the ESA nat insurance credit claim

They can but there is no requirement for them to do so, also, whilst there are areas of overlap between PIP and ESA there are also considerable differences. I wouldn't rely on it happening.

They can but there is no requirement for them to do so, also, whilst there are areas of overlap between PIP and ESA there are also considerable differences. I wouldn't rely on it happening.

My private counsellor will definitely not do a report or give any evidence for benefit claims. She says it is against the way she interprets the ethical framework of the BACP. I feel terribly frustrated by this because she knows me and my condition really well. As I have avoided seeing my GP , this rather leaves me stranded with no supporting evidence from someone who has seen and talked with me face to face. Should I press ahead with a PIP claim despite this.

This is a decision that only you can make. If you can manage dealing with the process then the worst that they can do is to turn you down.

It's a possibility, it will depend on how well you explain your limitations in completing each of the PIP activities.
