Thank you both for this information. I have been submitting fit notes and the current one has a month left. So hopefully that will be long enough for them.
I will call them in a week to see if they have received the decision notice.

I have just received my decision notice and it states that "The Tribunal makes no recommendation as to when the Department should reassess me"
If for example they give me 12 months is this from the date the appeal was won or from when the DWP made their decision not to award me the benefit?

ESA Decisions do not include the length of the award or the reassessment date.
Once your ESA goes back into payment you can call the DWP and they should be able to tell you when you are likely to be reassessed.
