Just to update you that I rang DWP who have told me that nothing has been done yet with my MR and that I would receive a letter in post (of which I was aware of)and there is no time scale, this seems laughable as they had already sent me a text on 17/9 to saying that the MR was being looked into at the time of sending the text. Do you think that they are delaying decisions due to the changes that are obviously going to take place with the appeal system? Crafty or what!!!

Any changes to the Tribunal system are still at the discussion stage, so no, the delay is nothing to do with this, the DWP are understaffed and they are pushing too many assessments through the system.

Well I received my MR decision and they just rubber stamped same award, they have stated that the assessors report is correct I have got standard for daily living only. I don't think that they have actually read or took any notice of my reasons why I felt I deserve a higher award (scored 11 points) and nothing for mobility. I am now over my date to now appeal as I felt that at least I am getting something and I did not feel that I could face an appeal but as time goes on I feel that I have given in too easily. I was not in a very good place at the time and would not have been able to get any more evidence than I had already given. What I need to know is what can I do if my conditions get worse before the award time is up (2022). Would I have to apply for PIP from the start again and go through another medical assessment?

You have one month from the date of the MR letter to request an appeal and 13 months from the date of the Decision to request a Late Appeal. If you want to do this this have a look at the PIP MR & Appeal guide for links to the SSCS1 form that you will need to complete and the guide has instructions on how to complete it. You do not need to provide detailed reasons for your appeal at this stage.
If you report a Change of Circumstances to the DWP then your claim will be reassessed this will be a new PIP2 and I would expect a face to face assessment.

My MR decision was dated 4th October, does one month mean by 4th November if so I am thinking about appealing. Also if I do appeal then can I change my mind if I cannot go through with it, if so how long before I have to tell them and would this go against me in the future.
Many thanks
