I'm afraid PIP Decisions are currently taking the best part of 8 weeks.

Good News Guys thanks to Benefits to work excellent guides and support I have had news today....
I was on DLA indefinite care and mobility
But now been moved to
PIP enhanced car
PIP enhanced mobility
And its for an Ongoing period
Its been a very stressful time, the waiting, the reading other peoples unfortunate problems of not getting the right result, but stay with the program so to speak, these guides help you to tell your story in the correct way that the system can understand and should, I say should give the correct result.
In my case I had over 25 years of medical evidence, backed up by 5 different Gps and 20 consultants, in addition I had over 90 medical scans, CT s scans, Xrays, MRI scans, and around 300 consultations recorded with doctors.
I have one question, how long is ongoing please, its so confusing, I was led to believe at one time by someone who was in the know at the time, not on here, that there wer no more indefinite or lifetime awards , but now see many people saying they have had those and 3 years 10 years and so on.
So my last question is what is Ongoing, I was told it is the highest award time you can get , but its not a stated time is it.
I wish you all a very good outcome, and I recommend Benefits to work, and will be here in the background helping others with any questions because I will keep up my membership every year.

That's great news holdingout! Thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W
An 'ongoing' award is as close to 'indefinite' as one can get with PIP. However, legislation allows for even these PIP awards to be reviewed at any time, for any (or no) reason.
