Hi Ragnar

I'm sorry that you were not successful with your Mandatory Reconsideration (only 17% of claimants win).

Before you put in for you Mandatory Reconsideration it would have been useful if you had rung the DWP and asked for a copy of the assessment report. If you tried to write your Mandatory Reconsideration without it, then you were immediately at a disadvantage, because you don't know how the DWP came to their decision. You can still ring up and ask for a copy of the assessment report.

You can put in a request at your doctor's for a copy of all your medical records.

In order to appeal - you should look at our Guide to PIP appeals. That will walk you through the entire process. Appeals take about a year, but you should lodge one now.

Hi Ragnar

I'm glad you understand now. The guide you need to appeal is about halfway down the page of this link - www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip it says PIP appeals in bold print and just underneath that is says Guide to PIP Appeals and that's the one you want.

Hi guy's i was recommended a good welfare worker by my mental health counselor it's a cab welfare worker they filled out the NOA1 form over the phone with me then sent it to me to sign it.
I just want to ask when i got the form the page at the back additional information that was empty space so will I carry on or will I leave it as welfare worker covered most in section 3 your ground's for appeal as I dont to mess things up as the way they put in section 3 I know now. but word it the wrong way. It has to be in for 29th January I think i should just leave it and post it. I was told my appeal will be over video or something, Cheers guy's

Hi Ragnar

So please you found a good worker. You don't need to add any information if you're happy with what's been said.
