Hi ccc

I'm afraid, it isn't a question of 'honesty', any assessor has a right to privacy and a claimant doesn't have the right to know their employment history. They are right to say that they are employed by IAS.

Some claimants have taken the name of an assessor off the assessment report and consequently checked whether they are registered with a professional body and some people subsequently make complaints about their fitness to practice.

Hi CCC

I can't say specifically why they asked you about your previous employment, but it is a question that is used quite often because it can indicate (rightly or wrongly) about prior skills. And yes, it can be used to try and catch people out.

With respect BIS, i must disagree with 1st paragraph, no other HP be them gp or nurse has denied me there full name(face to face assessments) and where or what they did before.
it helps you know there competence.

Thanks

Hello ccc,

As far as I know we don’t have any templates for such a letter. I would ask your friend to write something along the lines of…

Ccc is unable to go on most trips out of the house of the house by his/herself. This is because …(and state the problems you would have if you tried to attempt such a journey unaccompanied). I help ccc by …. (and list the things your friend does). The only time ccc is able to go on a journey without support is … (and list any journeys you might be able to do without help). Ccc has help with all other journeys outside of the house.

I hope this helps,
Catherine
