Hi Gary I have just now received a letter from the dwp dated 29th June 2021 which says Enclosed is your LEAP (in capital letters) decision letter from 16th January 2020..Also enclosed is the original letter with no mention of the LEAP review whatsoever. It seems to me they are trying to make a point,I would be very interested in your views about it.

Hi stevegill5257
I am not an expert on LEAP review so my views are very limited apart from what I read in B&W news letter. Check out B&W's last news letter in connection with LEAP www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/news/4403-23-june-2021-update.
There is a link which takes you to a survey if you have received a letter within the last 3 months.

Hi stevegill5257
i think you are correct in saying how long is a piece of string, we have had quite a few members who have in formed us of ghost letters, DWP states letters have been sent out, claimants state letters have not been received.
Need I say more.

Hi Gary as I mentioned to you in a previous post that I did not receive a letter from the dwp about the LEAP review which they say it was dated the 16th January 2020.So they have sent me a copy which is dated the 29th June 2021 which says Enclosed is your LEAP decision letter from 16th January 2020..Seeing that I did not receive the original letter why can I not use the copy for the LEAP review which is still within the 28 or 30 days time limit

Hi stevegill5257
The problem you have is, your word against the DWP.
On the forum we have come numerous 'Ghost' letters, where claimants say they never received the original LEAP letter which DWP state was sent. I don't know the answer apart from pointing you in the direction of our news letter dated 23rd June: www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/news/4403-23-june-2021-update.
