Just received text from DWP PIP

Hi all,

......Just to say (I don't think I've posted this before) when I rang to request the assessment report on the 6th of last month, I was quoted 5 weeks as the turn-around-time for me to get the decision letter.

That will be four weeks ago on Monday since I contacted them.

I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else is in a similar position.

Yes, sorry about the dramatisation, but I really did for a instant think that 'the' letter had arrived.

The height of the drama sort of went into slow motion, for few mili-seconds, then I thought: 'you daft wassock, it's just junk mail', which in fact it turned out to be.

That's exactly my philosophy: laugh about it and the stress seems easier to handle. It doesn't always work but more than often does.
