Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi emme1689
I mentioned the first time you asked the question that some people's assessments are internally audited,. They should have told you that straight away. I can understand your concern, but I don't think it is common for another assessment to take place. This is more likely to happen if someone complains about the outcome when they get to see the report. Let's hope that you get the outcome you're seeking. I would certainly keep contacting them - it's not fair to keep people waiting like this.

Hi BIS
Thanks for your reply. So would Capita of known that it was in an audit when I first rang up 10 days after my phone assessment?
I’ve just found this whole process so overwhelming this time round. I’m also going through my migration from ESA to UC at the moment too. But thank you for replying.

Hi emme1689
Yes, I think they would have known - but obviously have no proof.
You have a lot on your plate with the migration as well - so try not to worry about the audit. It is an internal process, it's nothing to do with you as a claimant. I know that's easier said than done when you are waiting for the response, but you have no control over their timescale.

Hi,
I spoke to capita again today. They’ve said it’s still in audit but there’s an “adjustment” on it and they made need to ring me. They said it won’t be another assessment but I may need to clarify something. Could this be regarding the extra evidence I sent in after the phone assessment?

Hi emme1689,
I think it's better to wait until they call you, as sometimes second guessing can cause all sorts of anxiety and stress. As hard as it is waiting, remember the saying "No news, is good news"
Chris.

Had my call from Capita this morning. Apparently they needed further information from the initial phone assessment. Some questions I felt were trick ones but she did say she’ll get it sent off today. Hopefully I’ll be able to request the PA4 sometime this week 🤞🏻
