Hello Sum,
This time last year I was struggling with an appeal on my son's behalf, which I could not have managed without the advice and support of all the moderators and forum members at B & W. Study their advice carefully - they really do know their stuff!
We were lucky and got my son's award reinstated at its previous level before we actually reached the tribunal, and from what I understand, quite a number of claims are settled this way. Without the advice from the mods at B & W and the messages of support from other members, I would never have had the confidence to persevere with my son's claim, but now I would advise anyone to continue the fight! Since your sister wasn't awarded anything, you have nothing to lose, so my advice would be - start by completing the online appeal form and take it step by step from there. You can use the waiting time to gather more evidence.
Good luck and best wishes,
Wendy Woo

Hi Wendy Woo
Thank you for your wise words, I would just add to your post, before you start the online appeal complete a submission before you start the online Appeal, then copy and paste it online at the relevant section.

Hi Wendy Woo ,
Thank you for sharing your story, glad to hear it all worked out with a positive outcome. I am definitely going to take all the advice. It can get lonely and overwhelming in this journey.
I am reassured by the advice and guidance recvd from the mods to date , so will plough out.
Part of the problem is just when i think i have a good grip on things and sis health conditions , something else happens ..... she's had 3+ appts this week , one she missed. it exhausting. I am sure lots of ppl can relate and that's on top of my own family needs.
