'Official error' to make DWP redecide revision?

I've had a bit of a look over the complaint webpages.

The thing is, would an internal complaint to the CAB actually help my case with the DWP/Disability and Carers Service or the tribunals service?

There is mention of the independent adjudicaor that i feel more comfortable with.

The CAB is actually a charity

Wasn't the CAB setup by the government?

I doubt lodging a complaint to CAB would really help your case,I would submit your copy of the letter to the tribunal service as soon as able and ask the CAB for a covering letter to say that the information should have been made available before. If the information is that substansive then there is always a possibility that the DWP would change there mind. If not then it will be taken into consideration for your appeal.

I must confess that I am guilty of not bothering to complain to CAB when I was badly let down some time ago, but it is worth making a complaint if you want to. It will not affect your appeal in any way as it would be internal and not disclosed to DWP or Tribunal.

I don't know anything about the history of the CAB but they often speak out against the Government and I don't think they get any Government funding. At least that's what I was told by a CAB Officer.

CAB was pre WW2 set up by UK Social Services by the end of the war they where down to less than a 1/5 the number till recent times they where funded by the goverenment and only in very recent times have they got full charity status and self fund I doubt any are still funded by central funds

they are also all independent but have rules and guidelines they must stick to

I was wrong they started at the time war started

Thanks i like that idea. It somehow avoids casting blame so much. They had better admit the letter wasn't passed on i hope. I fear they could be awkward and that i should try to keep things quiet. Perhaps contact CAB advisor directly who didn't pass it on so she doesn't get any public blame.
