Thanks for merging me; I know for future. Thanks for your responses and I will certainly be completing my form ( which is my first) in line with how my illness impacts on me. I suspect that I will be seen by an ATOS who specialises in neurological issues.
I did not even have to have an assessment for my blue badge and it came back successfully awarded within a week and I was gearing up for appeal etc.

As the DLA award depends on your care and mobility needs, rather than your medical condition, you should not expect to be assessed by someone who has any particular knowledge of your condition in particular or neurology in general!
