I scored 2s across enough categories to get higher level daily living as many here probably have too. I should have got a couple of 4/8’s but didn’t challenge because I got what I needed. They are going to see a massive rise in MR and Appeals, I wonder if they factored that in to their figures? I will be employing professional advice at next appeal as I don’t have the energy for this fight. 2 friends actively planning suicide (yes reported to their gps with permission) who have had enough of the fight living and trying to work with mental illness. 

In 2020 I was told that my PIP will be for life but now I'm not certain of that is still applicable with these "alterations"that Labour are threatening me with. I'm as unwell as it gets...I suffer from COPD, Chronic recurring bilateral DVTs and a broken neck that is an immense problem. My neck injury affects my coordination with my arms and hands and my ability to walk is a problem as if I were to fall and injury to my neck could cause either a death or at best I'd be quadriplegic, added to that I've got breaks in C4, C7 and C5 is collapsed. Ironically it's inoperable as no less than 5l4 spinal surgeons and 2 neuro surgeons have told me that they'd probably lose me if they attempted to operate...and I'm concerned that I may be penalised for being disabled which is causing my mental health to suffer. It's wrong that our Govts is causing genuinely ill people such as myself to worry.S8rry to ramble on🙏

I have Epilepsy since I was 12 and Then For Reasons Unknown It Became Completely Uncontrollable I Have 11 Different Types of Epileptic Seizures Including The 2 Big Ones it has been uncontrolled for Over 12 Years And I Have literally Been On Every Single Medication Even Trial Meds I’ve Been in 3 Comas , Suffering Oxygen Starvation To The Brain And Even A Severe Allergic Reaction To A Medication That Put Me In Chemically Induced Psychosis My Brain Doesn’t Work Properly I Don’t Have Any Memory Meaning I Don’t Remember Anything I Have 3 Children I Don’t Remember Them Being Born Or Getting Married And Now I Live Alone My Ex Wife Is Still My Main Carer I Have Spent Years Added up In Hospitals Having Treatments I Dont remember And Literally Everything Is A Trigger Point For A Seizure Sounds When Outside Any flashing lights even sunlight I’ve Suffered Countless Broken Bones Stitches and Fractures I Am Basically Housebound Unless With someone Who Knows What To Do in An Emergency I Used To love Reading But It Causes Seizures My Daily Smaller Seizures 9 Different Kinds Effect Me And Build Up To My Large Seizures I Have Had To Change My Whole Life Around My Epilepsy So My Home I Can’t Have Normal Furniture No Sharp Edges showering Everything Is JUST IN CASE Electrics Oven And everything Is on Timer’s And I Write Everything Down To Have Some Memory And Because Of My Injuries suffered I’m Limited To physical Activity My specialists and The Head Of Neurological Epilepsy Who I should only see every 5 years I See Every 2 to 3 months Still Trialing Latest Medical Medication and Treatment My Children Have Only Known Me Like This And So They Are Actually Better At Helping Than Even Some Nurses I SCORED THE HIGHEST PIP I CANNOT REMEMBER THE NUMBERS I WAS GIVEN BUT THEY USUALLY REVIEW EVERY 3 YEARS SO I JUST GOT REVIEWED AND UNTIL I THINK 2027 WILL THEY NOT LOOK AT PREVIOUS LIFE LONG DISABILITIES THAT ARE NOT CURABLE AND IN MY CASE WILL ONLY GET WORSE AS I REACH MY 50s And Beyond I Say That Because One of My Conditions With My Epilepsy Is SUDDEN ONSET DEATH It’s Rare But I was Made Aware That I Have That Kind Of Epilepsy Obviously Not Telling My Kids About That They Only Need To Know I’ll Be Fine After Each Seizure I Do Score Looking At some Questions 8 and 10 I think if I remember Correctly and 4 On Others As I Am Absolutely Unable To Do Anything Especially After I’ve Had My Seizures Or Do They Just Go Off Previous Reviews or For The Most Severe Disabilities Do They Just Leave It I have no Clue AND I HAVE AUTISM APOLOGIES I DO GO ON AS I CYCLE THROUGH MY MIND I can’t Remember Everything Like Normal People 

I got awarded pop last June, I have one score of 3 and others at 2 so this will affect me. At the time I didn’t appeal even though I think I could have (I was just relieved to get it), can I appeal now? I told them at the time that I wanted to appeal but was struggling with managing the paperwork.

People who are asking about will they carry out a renewal on the date they assigned....2028 is coming up, most likely. I have indefinite,  others 10 year awards but I know they can reassess me at anytime.  But if you have a date....unless they say something different,  it will be so

I scored 4 in one of the daily living activity descriptors in my review in 2023 and was awarded PIP until 2028. I think that means i will be ok.

This labour government is creating such division and hate towards/for disabled people, alongside personal fear and worry. 

My pip gets reviewed in 2028. i have no 4 pointers; does that mean they won't do anything to me until 28, or will my pip be reviewed in November

These proposals are deliberately designed to make it virtually impossible to "pass the test" to claim any type of disability or long term sickness. If someone is "lucky enough" to "pass the test" they will only be able to get help so minimal that they will need to be supported by other financial means. This government has chosen to not only discriminate against the disabled and sick and vulnerable but to force them into poverty and even homelessness. This is a country that attacks the weakest and most vulnerable without conscience, give themselves a raise, and a pat on the back for doing so. They will end up from what it sounds like, push this through. They are not at all concerned in the least about helping disabled vulnerable people. They may have written it in very large letters in the sky. 

I get around 30points on care will I be OK and around 25 on motabiliy does anyone know please 

The horrific reality of these cruel changes are even if you score 3 points on each of the 10 daily living elements = 30 points but you STILL will lose the daily living element if you don’t score 4 on one of those. In effect they are dismissing us!

Where can I do the mock test 

This is a disgusting, cynical proposal aimed at calculating disabled people into oblivion. Someone scoring at a low level across a variety of tasks is going to experience cumulative difficulty with living daily life. People don’t get dressed one day, then have a rest and prepare a meal the next, then attend to hygiene issues on a third. Perhaps it’s time that policies affecting us should be written by us.

These are not proposals the Labour Government have the MP's to ensure the changes are passed unopposed ASAP. As we have witnessed with Labour they will bull doze their way without respect or regard to those in society affected. A totally imoral  and shameful government. 

I am confused the government are as usual making the most venerable poeple suffer even more by robbing money off us while handing money out to other area of society. Now that the ni contributions for companies have gone up lot more poeple being made unemployed.

Mobility is not affected by any changes so if your award stays the same on review you won't lose mobility. However the daily care component you need to score four or higher on one descriptor and make up the rest with 2s or 3s up to an 8 or up to 12 to get An award. If you don't get daily care at any level you will lose the Universal credit top up for lcwra some time after November 2026 when the pip assessment criteria changes from what has been said or  when you have a review on your claim after that date

I really don’t understand I get 10 points for mobility will I still get pip on the new rules 

I feel there's a closet case dwp member on here. Otherwise, there are some who think the government is doing a great job... wonder which it is? Awful lot of good sensible comments of logic being down voted.  And I'm not referring to any of mine. But others who have a real grip on the situation. Starting to make me want to contribute less. Spy inthe camp perhaps. Tell me I'm wrong please. 

I’m pension age. I get pip for fibromyalgia chronic fatigue syndrome colitis, vertigo arthritis and chronic back pain. Will the new rules affect me?
