Hiya. Thought I'd pop in to let you know what's happing with my claim.

It's been a really horrible couple of weeks for me. I had to get a solicitor involved and the DWP have now agreed to do a paper based assessment as a reasonable adjustment.
This is a massive weight off.

I was awarded higher rate daily living and standard rate mobility today for 4 years.
It's good news but I'm so exhausted it hasn't really sunk in yet.
I don't have the vocabulary to describe how I feel.
6 years of torture and after getting the help of a solicitor everything is literally sorted and over in a matter of days.
I guess I'm numb for a lack of better words and still in pain knowing that all this continues for so many people, and it seems there's nothing anyone can really do to turn this all around.
I hear of horrible oppression going on in other countries I guess I didn't expect this from the UK.
I'm going to try and get some good rest and after spending some time adapting hope to make progress with my life and within my self-development.
Thanks everyone for all the help and support I've had from you all here.

This is the website and solicitor I had help from if anyone else needs the extra support. It's no win no fee and there's also no obligation and plenty of free information on the website.

It's likely they will make reasonable adjustments again in the future and make a decision based on whatever paperwork and medical evidence they have. 6 months has lapsed.. So 3 and a half years respite from this gruelling process. That's if they respect the law and don't call me back a year to early again.
This will be the longest break ill have from it all in six years so I'm happy about that and at least I have legal support now.
- Thanks again -
