Orangeblossom wrote: Thank you again Gordon. I have been away for a free days but not have the letter and my appeal is allowed; enhanced rate care, as precious, so many thanks for the calm straightforward advice and also I found the submissions guide here very helpful for me and my family to help put together the information.
So, it doesn't day much, just that the appeal is allowed, the points scored on and it is due to the medical evidence in the appeal pack and the conditions I have. It doesn't say anything about the length of award, but my conditions are long term.
Shouldn't it say something about the length of award? What happens next?
Many thanks again.
Congratulations on winning your appeal.
Yes it should say something about the award length, does it say anything about it being "inappropriate for the panel to recommend an award length"? This would imply an on-going award. If there is no mention of an award length then I would give the Clerk of the Court a ring.
Tribunal results usually take 5-8 weeks to be processed, once you have sorted out the award length I would give the DWP a call just to make sure that they have received the Decision Notice.

I have also noticed that the points given are not simply the original ones reinstated, they have given some different ones. However it makes 12 n total and that is the main thing.
Thanks again for all your help and hoping this topic helps others as well. Good to see they did take my paper appeal seriously and also gave points for needing support socially which is true.
Kind regards OB

Yes, they usually ask about this, you can leave the country for up to 4 weeks on ESA without problem.
