I'm a bit worried about something. When i spoke to the lady on the phone at Appeals she said we haven't sent it before the judge yet. I was under the impression appeals panel are doctor, disability expert and a judge. Is it just the judge then for paper appeals? Thanks

No it will be a three person panel.

I've had the rest of the submission copied and sent back out to me, this took a bit of time and received it today.

It says on the front copied sheet a code and date- do you have any idea what it means? (on my copy not the covering letter)

Do you think this means they are planning to look at it on the 1st Aug? Thanks

It is not the stamp saying when it was received- that is different and is the same as I have from my records - 11 Jul 2016

It could be but I haven't seen this before. If it is then you should hear around the 4th or 5th

It could also be week commencing 1 August in which case it could be the following week before you hear.

Or it could be something different :)

Thanks Gordon, I'm a bit intrigues by it, so under if I could ring the tribunals service and check- I wonder if they'd tell me what it meant over the phone? :-)
