Do you now have confirmation that the DWP have received a copy of the Decision?
DLA and ESA are separate benefits with separate criteria, receiving one does not imply that you are eligible for the other, let alone that you should have a particular award. To be placed in the Support Group you need to meet one or more of the SG Descriptors.

No not yet Gordon ....this has been a nightmare from beginning to end (when it eventually ends that is)! Last time his wife phoned they were told they couldn't do anything until he answered their short questionaire ...same questions as originally in the application forms

He was in the support group, but they took him out of it because the DLA had been stopped, through DWP actually admitting they forgot to send him the forms before his time lapsed, so had to treat him as a new applicant for PIP ...sorry to keep bothering you, but this has affected the whole family. We are trying to help out with food etc, and now his wife is deeply depressed. Last time she phoned they wouldn't speak to her as she wasn't his representative !!

What are they doing about the ESA? Were they actually moved out of the SG or did they just lose the Premiums that were payable due to the DLA award?

They took him out of the SG and now he has to go for assessment for that next Tuesday I will go with him ...I am also going to phone the DWP or whoever deals with sorting his DLA out ...it just beggars belief ...he sent the form with those questions, back straight away as they told him they couldn't do it over the phone ..I have to go into hospital on Friday so I am going to phone them tomorrow ...it is now almost 6 months with no money ....just ridiculous ...
