It's unlikely that you will get a home assessment without the support of your GP you need them to write to ATOS explaining why you cannot attend at there offices.

If you do have to attend can anybody go with you?

My dad will take me and go with me. I have another question sorry. When I applied for PIP I was sent and ESA renewal form dated the same day that I rang up to apply for PIP. I'd not had a review of my ESA in years. I've since not heard back about my ESA and now I have read online that they will can use the PIP assessment to decide my ESA. The more I read the more I know I will fail PIP and am getting panicked. If I do fail it will I likely lose my ESA?

PIP and ESA have very different criteria, after all, it is entirely acceptable for someone to be on enhanced rates of PIP and work full time!

In addition, we have never seen a situation where a refusal of one benefit has brought about the removal of the other.

Thanks that puts my mind at rest a bit. I do get very worked up and paranoid. Tbh I wish I had never applied for PIP now. And thanks for the reply about the chriopractors clinic. I hope I get someone with some understanding. I will post back if I do manage to go. It will depend on the day if I can force myself to go. Dad is taking me.

I had my face to face today. The woman was very nice but to be honest I don't feel hopeful. She asked if my conditions were diagnosed. Some are and some not officially I don't think. Like my Agoraphobia and bulimia. The doctor knows but I've never officially seen anyone to say yes that's the diagnosis. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Anyway it's over and done with now so we will see.

The assessor was nice and understanding but I didn't really go into huge detail like I did on the forum. In situations like this where I feel pressurised I just can't think. She didn't write much in each box.

She didn't ask much about my agoraphobia and how it affects me. Just asked if it had been diagnosed and when. I was honest and said well I told my doctor I don't go out. I haven't for about 7 years only like at the most once every few moths when forced for something. I know what agoraphobia is as my mum has had it over 30 years. I've never actually specifically been treated for it or the bulimia.

She didn't ask much about how that limits me. I was mainly asked if I go online and what I do online. I was honest and I said I do. The rest focused more on internet banking and financial stuff.
